Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an FSQA Tech in Caseyville, IL to help ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems and document results accurately.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or QA, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. The 3rd shift includes overtime and weekend work; safety gear and LO/TO procedures apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year in food manufacturing or related QA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to complete Tyson paperwork.
• Ability to lead and motivate hourly workforce.
• Good problem identification and problem solving skills.
• Math and organizational skills; ability to read specifications.
• Must work well under stress and be flexible for overtime/weekends.
• Lifts up to 75 lbs; stands up to 12 hours; works in cold/hot environments.
