Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance/食品 Safety role in a food manufacturing environment in Ohio. You will monitor HACCP procedures, compile reports, and support product testing and compliance activities.

Collaborating with Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Sensory and Product Development, you will help ensure safe, high-quality products and maintain regulatory standards across production lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience.
• HACCP knowledge as it applies to plant operations (HACCP certification preferred).
• Work in a variety of temperatures.
• Learn and operate standard laboratory equipment and keep accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure daily adherence to HACCP and GMP; report deviations.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain quality reports and documentation (spec notices, trend analyses, SAP processing).
• Verify regulatory compliance of manufacturing formulas and procedures; initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Sensory, and Product Development for testing.
• Conduct investigations into food safety incidents and deliver GMP/food safety training.
