Job summary

Western Smokehouse Partners is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead daily food safety and quality initiatives during a growth phase. The role focuses on HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance across production and warehouse areas.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a QA supervisory role within food manufacturing, strong leadership and communication, and a working knowledge of FDA/USDA guidelines. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute quality assurance activities including internal audits and training.
• Monitor HACCP plan CCPs and enforce policies.
• Conduct GMP and sanitation audits across production and warehouse areas.
• Collaborate with operations to address quality and safety concerns.
• Manage product holds, releases and dispositions per protocols.
• Assist in root cause investigations and preventative actions.
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and third-party audits.
