Job summary

Ziegenfelder Company is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Lead to oversee SQF programs, drive audits, and ensure product safety across multiple facilities. The role requires strong HACCP/PCQI credentials and coordination with QA, production, sanitation and HR teams.

Responsibilities include leading internal audits, supervising sanitation, training staff on safety protocols, and supporting third-party audits to uphold federal, state and company standards.

Qualifications

• HACCP and PCQI certifications required.
• SQF practitioner certification is a plus.
• Experience with Food Safety, SQF, sanitation (SSOP & GMP) and QA process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audits, inspections, mock recalls, traceability exercises and verification activities.
• Coordinate SQF program implementation, maintenance, and records.
• Develop, deliver and document employee training on SQF, HACCP, GMP, SOPs and sanitation.
