Job summary

The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) seeks a Campaign Manager to lead and advance campaigns for stronger, evidence-based food safety policies addressing pathogens and unsafe dietary supplements. Design and execute state and federal advocacy to promote testing, research, and regulatory standards, while opposing rollbacks of safeguards.

The Campaign Manager reports to the Director of Regulatory Affairs, collaborates across CSPI, and works in a hybrid DC-based/remote setup.

Qualifications

• A track record in public-interest advocacy or food safety policy.
• A proven ability to design and implement campaigns and build partnerships.
• Strong written policy documents and public-speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategies to advance food safety policies and dietary supplement safety.
• Develop policy targets and coordinate federal/state reform efforts.
• Build coalition relationships and represent CSPI with regulators.
• Create regulatory comments, testimonies, letters, and op-eds.
• Engage lawmakers and manage multiple campaigns with teams.
