Job summary

Cutrale North America in Newark, NJ, is seeking Lab Technicians / Microbiologists to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance meet customer specifications. You will support microbiology testing, environmental sampling, and the ongoing programs that protect product safety and brand integrity.

You will work with the QA Coordinator to implement scientific and technical microbiology initiatives, maintain equipment and logs, and help manage laboratory supplies while adhering to safety rules

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in applied microbiology or biology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read, understand and follow precise written instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with QA Coordinator on microbiology and food safety programs.
• Perform environmental testing sampling and coordinate with outside labs.
• Maintain lab equipment, glassware, and inventory of supplies.
• Document daily logs and equipment records.
• Calibrate instruments and prepare bottles/reagents.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory and plant regulations.
