Impact Employment Solutions is seeking a Food Safety Coordinator to lead the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety program, manuals, and staff training across facilities. The role supports audits, budget adherence, and operational compliance with GMPs and safety standards.

The ideal candidate brings HACCP and PCQI certifications, 2–3 years in food safety, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in food safety.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• HACCP and PCQI certifications are required.

Responsabilités

• Co-chair the Food Safety committee and lead meetings.
• Liaise with outside vendors for pre-requisite programs and cleaning supplies.
• Communicate with Supervisors to identify and support training initiatives for employees.
• Develop and implement HACCP Food Safety program and support audits.
• Review PrimusGFS auditing program requirements annually.
• Perform GMP inspections and ensure GMPs are followed.
• Develop, validate, and verify all operational checklists within the Food Safety plan.
• Create and maintain operational manuals.
• Conduct internal program audits and mock recalls as required.
• Identify and ensure training needs are met.
