Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking an experienced Food Safety Manager / SQF Practitioner to own food safety and quality programs for a food-contact packaging manufacturer. The role collaborates with production teams on the floor, focusing on HACCP, GMPs, audits, and corrective actions.

The candidate will lead audits, documentation, training, and traceability, ensuring compliance with SQF and related standards while maintaining readiness for mock recalls and customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs.
• Experience in food, food packaging, or related manufacturing.
• Experience with audits, corrective actions, root‑cause analysis, and documentation.
• SQF, BRCGS, or FSSC 22000 experience preferred.
• HACCP certification preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who knows HACCP, GMPs, audits, and corrective actions and is comfortable working directly with production teams on the manufacturing floor.
