Job summary

The shift runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekends and holidays as needed. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a HS diploma or GED, or at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED or 1 year related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Store received product in assigned location with proper stock rotation and dating.
• Inspect and store deliveries per HACCP and department procedures; report safety or quality concerns to supervisor.
• Operate and maintain equipment per manufacturer and department guidelines; follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to SDS information for safe handling of chemicals in the workplace.
• Maintain professional relationships and provide excellent customer service to vendors, drivers, and coworkers.
• Receive shipments; document receipt and identify discrepancies with the order guide and supervisor.
• Receive shipments from trucking companies, UPS, and special distributors per procedures.
• Monitor and record temperatures according to operation guidelines.
• Complete inventories; place orders according to operation schedules and procedures.
• Maintain inspection-readiness of storage areas, refrigerators, freezers; manage trash and recycling.
