Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Food Runner to join the Peacock Alley team!

Surrounded by Walt Disney Resort, this luxurious Forbes 4-star property has 502 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets, including 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a pool, and in-room dining.

Classification: Part-Time

Shift: Various - must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $13.50 per hour plus tips

What will I be doing?

As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for maintaining and transporting all food products for designated outlets, ensuring outstanding guest service and supporting the hotel's profitability. Specific responsibilities include:

1. Prepare and replenish foods for hot and cold buffets, including fruits, juices, cereals, bread, hot foods, etc.
2. Replenish ice and maintain sanitation standards for temperature and hygiene.
3. Transport food items to and from the kitchen.
4. Check, maintain, and control inventory of food items.
5. Restock outlets and break down buffets for cleaning and setup for the next day.
6. Perform general cleaning to maintain a clean work area.
7. Store food stock and dry goods according to standards.
