Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Food Runner to join the Peacock Alley Team!

Surrounded by Walt Disney Resort, this luxurious Forbes 4-Star property has 502 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets, including 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a pool, and in-room dining.

• Classification: Part-Time
• Shift: Various - must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Pay: $13.50 per hour plus tips

What will I be doing?

As a Food Runner, you will maintain and transport all food products for a designated outlet or outlets, contributing to outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and replenishing foods for hot and cold buffets, including fruit, juices, cereals, bread, hot food, etc.
• Replenishing ice and maintaining sanitation standards for time and temperature control
• Transporting food items to and from the kitchen
• Checking, maintaining, and controlling inventory of food items
• Restocking outlets with inventory and breaking down the buffet for cleaning and setup for the next day
• Performing general cleaning to maintain work area cleanliness
• Putting away food stock and dry goods according to standards
