JOEY Restaurants in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Food Runner to support kitchen and service staff as we open our second Dallas location. You will deliver orders promptly and help maintain a smooth workflow between front and back-of-house teams with genuine warmth.

No experience is required for this entry-level role. You should be able to obtain local/state Food Handler permits, enjoy hospitality, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

We are looking for high‑performing, passionate individuals to join a remarkable team of culinary leaders and hospitality professionals as we continue the JOEY legacy in our second location in Dallas. Opening summer 2026, with the potential to start right away at our JOEY Dallas location.

The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring excellent guest service by delivering food orders from the kitchen to the members of our serving staff, accurately, and with Genuine Warmth and Care. Working closely with kitchen and service staff, the Food Runner helps maintain a smooth workflow between front and back‑of‑house operations.

Duties

• Promptly deliver food orders from the kitchen/expo line to service staff in the dining area.
• Navigate through the restaurant while carrying dishware and glassware safely and efficiently; may include use of trays.
• Follow all foodservice safety precautions and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
• Possess a passion for hospitality, a professional demeanor, and an ability to work well in a team setting.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
