Job summary

Legal Sea Foods in Lynnfield is seeking a Food Runner to deliver orders accurately and courteously while maintaining professional presentation. You will check orders for accuracy, garnish as needed, and ensure timely service for all guests in a busy setting.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. Minimum age 17; high school diploma preferred; E-Verify will be used for employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Present self in courteous and professional manner to guests at all times.
• Check orders for accuracy prior to serving to ensure food items are as guests ordered.
• Deliver food orders with appropriate garnishments.
• Deliver food orders timely and, where multiple guests involved, at the same time.
• Communicate important information to guests and servers (e.g., hot plate, guest seeking drink from bar).
• Respond to guests’ requests for condiments or other items.
• Continually clear away dishes and debris from stations.
• Know table numbers and restaurant layout to ensure prompt service.
• Bring guests’ inquiries regarding food allergies to the Manager’s attention immediately.
• Ensure station is suitable for serving and meets company standards.
