City of Deerfield Beach is hiring enthusiastic food runners for a waterfront dining establishment in Deerfield Beach, FL.

You will learn menu items, present dishes to guests, and support a busy team. Training lasts 2 shifts before tips begin.

Candidates must have reliable transportation, endure long hours on their feet, and be able to lift up to 25 lbs; Sundays required.

Prior restaurant experience is reccomended but not necessary. We are a busy multifaceted restaurant with a large indoor and outdoor dining area. We expect a high quality service experience from every staff member.

Our menu consists of fresh seafood, steak, salads, and sandwiches. You will be expected to learn and know what dishes you are presenting to the guest and learn and know what seat position the food goes to. We do not auction off food at JBs on the beach. You will train for 2 shifts before you start receiving tips.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work long hours on feet (8-12 hours) when needed
• Must be able to lift objects up to 25 lbs when needed
• Must be able to pay for part of uniform and pay for proper upkeep of uniform conforming to our uniform policy
• Must be able to pay for parking when neccesary. Beach parking is very limited so there are not many options in season. There are free places to park but they are not close
• Must be able to work on Sundays
