Job summary

Evans Hotels, LLC, owner of Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa, seeks a Food Runner for Oceana Coastal Kitchen. You will assist Food Servers, deliver meals, refill drinks, and ensure guests have a smooth dining experience in a fast-paced beachside setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in food service, a valid San Diego County Food Handler certificate (training provided), and flexibility to work weekends/holidays, with the ability to stand and lift up to 25 lbs throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must attain San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire (company will provide).
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• During meal periods, runs food from kitchen to guest tables.
• Fill and maintain water glasses and coffee mugs at tables.
• Inspect table settings; ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
• Maintain service storeroom and assist leadership as directed.
