Job summary

Ditka's Restaurant Group is seeking a Food Runner to help maintain the flow between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring guests receive meals promptly and accurately. This role requires an efficient, detail-oriented team member dedicated to presenting food to the highest standards.

It involves delivering orders to guests by table and position numbers, checking for dietary restrictions, and assisting with pre/post shift tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a full-service restaurant.
• 6 months to 1 year as a busperson.
• Must have Monday–Friday lunch availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests by table and position numbers.
• Check each order for special instructions or dietary restrictions.
• Safely transport multiple plates and beverages in a single trip.
• Ensure dishes meet restaurant standards for preparation and presentation.
• Complete pre-shift, running shift, and post-shift setup and cleanup as directed.
• Work in a team environment and assist guests and team members as needed.
• Maintain professional restaurant image and adhere to safety standards.
