Job summary

The Buttery is a vibrant cafe in Kentucky seeking a Food Runner to bridge kitchen and guests with prompt, accurate service and a friendly energy. You’ll help maintain high service standards and contribute to a fast-paced, team-driven environment where great food and hospitality come together.

You will deliver dishes and drinks, share details with guests, and assist in clearing tables while supporting bussers and baristas to ensure smooth operations in a dynamic cafe setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable carrying warm plates and mugs and walking/standing for extended periods.
• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to tables with accuracy and care.
• Share dish details with guests upon drop-off and answer basic menu questions.
• Assist in clearing tables and keeping service areas organized.
• Support bussers, counter team and baristas to ensure smooth, efficient service.
