PJW Restaurant Group is hiring Food Runners for PJ Whelihan's in West Chester, PA. You’ll help deliver orders promptly, support servers, and maintain a high-energy, guest‑focused environment in a busy, sports‑bar setting.

The role emphasizes positive interactions, teamwork, and the ability to handle a fast-paced venue while keeping areas clean and well‑stocked. Weekend availability including mornings and evenings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be positive, upbeat, and welcoming.
• Communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Stand for long periods (up to 5 hours).
• Able to lift and maneuver trays up to 20–25 pounds.
• PM weekday and AM/PM weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from kitchen to tables or customers promptly and efficiently.
• Verify orders match guest requests and communicate discrepancies to kitchen/servers.
• Coordinate with kitchen to keep multiple orders ready for delivery and maintain hot/cold accuracy.
• Assist with setting/clearing tables, refilling water, and providing guest amenities.
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; address spills and hazards promptly.
• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service.
