Job summary

HRI Hospitality in New Orleans' Warehouse District is seeking a Food Runner for Salon Salon within Maison Métier to support the restaurant team during busy service, delivering orders promptly and maintaining dining area standards.

You will communicate with kitchen and servers, assist with clearing, garnishes prep, and ensure food safety guidelines are followed; physical stamina to lift up to 40 lbs is required; prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
• Ability to carry trays and deliver food safely and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30–40 lbs. for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
• Ensure dishes are delivered at the correct temperature and presentation.
• Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow.
• Assist servers by clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, service stations, and dining areas.
• Help prepare garnishes, sauces, or condiments for service when needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with opening, running, and closing side duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
