Job summary

Flanigan’s is seeking a front-of-house team member to deliver friendly guest service, manage orders in the POS system, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. You will assist with curbside pickup, payment processing, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area.

Applicants must be able to stand for long periods, pass Florida safety programs, and work in a fast-paced setting. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, 401K eligibility, and half-priced shift meals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop frequently.
• Able to deliver plates and clear tables up to 50 lbs.
• Must speak, read and write English.
• Must read and write handwritten guest checks.
• Complete Florida Responsible Vendor program.
• Complete food safety certification.
• Flexible hours.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area
