Job summary

Steelbach in Tampa is seeking a friendly Food Runner to help deliver meals and drinks quickly and accurately. You will support servers, assist with refills, and maintain a clean, organized dining area to ensure a great guest experience.

This role requires a positive attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Growth opportunities and competitive pay with tips are offered.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• A passion for food and customer service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
• Assist servers during busy shifts by refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Ensure presentations meet quality standards.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to clarify orders and requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas and dining room.
• Assist with inventory by tracking stock levels and noting shortages.
• Uphold health and safety guidelines and proper sanitation practices.
• Provide exceptional guest service and address inquiries.
• Be a team player and support fellow staff to create a positive workplace.
