Out to Lunch Restaurant Group is hiring a Food Runner in Colorado to ensure quick delivery of dishes, coordinate between kitchen and dining room, and uphold presentation standards.

You will support fast-paced service, communicate clearly with staff, and help maintain a high level of guest satisfaction. Flexible weekends and occasional holidays are required; base pay is hourly with tips.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar food running/expeditor role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food/drink to tables quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure ticket times and orders with modifications are correct.
• Plate presentation: maintain high standards for presentation, accuracy, and quality.
• Act as a liaison between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Conduct a final quality check on all dishes for accuracy.
• Coordinate timing so all components are ready for service simultaneously.
• Expedite orders as needed based on time and guest preferences.
• Address issues or discrepancies with orders promptly and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized expo station for hygiene and safety.
• Demonstrate composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Be flexible on weekends and occasional holidays.
• Step in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation.
