Job summary

Palm Court in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Server Assistant for a full-time role to support food running and service flow between the kitchen and dining room. This position ensures timely delivery, accuracy, and guest satisfaction while following service standards.

It is a developmental role toward Captain Assistant or other Front of House positions. The ideal candidate has entry-level restaurant experience, a strong sense of urgency, and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior experience in a refined or high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison between the kitchen and dining room to support timely and accurate food delivery.
• Verify plate presentation, accuracy, and completeness before leaving the pass.
• Deliver food promptly to the correct table and seat position, using proper service etiquette and tray handling.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen, expeditor, and service team regarding timing, refires, or special requests.
• Support proper pacing of courses by coordinating with Servers and Captains.
