Job summary

The Boca Raton is seeking a Full Time Food Server in Boca Raton, FL to support front-of-house operations under the Captain, delivering polished service and guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, explaining menu items, taking and entering cocktail and dessert orders into the POS, delivering items promptly, and maintaining clean stations.

Prior serving experience is required; luxury service background preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience required; refined or luxury restaurant experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining room etiquette.
• Ability to operate POS systems and process guest checks accurately.
• Ability to take cocktail and dessert orders confidently and professionally.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and professionally, reinforcing a welcoming and attentive atmosphere.
• Explain menu items, specials, and promotions when engaging with guests.
• Take and enter cocktails, dessert, and other beverage orders accurately into the POS system.
• Repeat orders to guests to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Retrieve food and beverage items from the kitchen or bar, verify accuracy and presentation, and deliver promptly with appropriate accompaniments.
• Monitor tables for guest needs, such as beverage refills and pacing, escalating to the Captain as needed.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner, supporting the Captain in guest satisfaction.
• Present and process guest checks in accordance with restaurant procedures when assigned.
