Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment, including HOB Entertainment, operates House of Blues venues nationwide. This role focuses on maintaining high-volume kitchen operations, executing opening/closing duties, and responding to guest inquiries with courtesy.

Ideal candidates will have experience in fast-paced food service, strong communication, a sense of urgency, and basic sanitation standards. A high school diploma is required; POS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform table maintenance duties according HOB service standards
• Open/Run/Close duties according to HOB Service Standards
• Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner
• Maintain clean, organized work area throughout shift
• Keep floor clean and free of obstacles; handle spills promptly
• Stock line to par and ensure proper waste disposal
• Stay informed of current menu items and SOPs
• Follow safety standards and assist other employees as needed
• Occasionally work private events scheduled at the venue

The Role:

• Perform table maintenance duties according HOB service standards
• Perform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to HOB Service Standards
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
• Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift
• Keep floor neat, clean and free of food, trash and other obstacles throughout shift
• Clean all spills immediately, use floor signs to caution guests and staff
• Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles
• Clean and stock line to par throughout shift
• Keep current on all standard operating procedures
• Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions
• Follow private party service guidelines to ensure event success
• Assist Other Employees as needed
• Follow all safety standards
• Required to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue

Qualifications:

Required:

• High volume kitchen operations
• Food Service as either an Expeditor or Server in a high volume environment
• Exceptional communication skills
• Sense of Urgency
• Time Management
• Kitchen sanitation standards
• Critical thinking and decision making
• High School diploma

Preferred:

• Point of Sales experience
• Food Service as either an Expeditor or Server in a high volume environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• Work environment is fast-paced, loud and often stressful
• Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
• Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques
