Sally’s Apizza in Newington, CT is seeking a Food Runner/Busser (Floor Support) to deliver food promptly and professionally, while supporting guests and front-of-house operations in a busy dining environment.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, basic Spanish is a plus, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Benefits are available for full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Prior Running/Bussing experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by following Sally’s Steps of Service.
• Pull and arrange tables and chairs for guests as needed.
• Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset during service.
• Ensure plated food and pies leave the kitchen quickly and correctly.
• Greet each table and serve, using correct seat positions on the ticket.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
• Support FOH and other duties as needed.
