Sterling Grove is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Food Runner/Busser. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Key Responsibilities of the Food Runner:

1. Ensure all materials used by the server are clean and ready for daily operation.
2. Know the position of each diner's chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
3. Set the outside line with liners, plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other necessary items for delivering food.
4. Organize plates in the window and match each with the corresponding ticket to deliver food to tables.
5. Set tables according to Troon Golf standards.
6. Ensure each menu item is prepared exactly as outlined on the ticket.
7. Coordinate with the chef to correct any menu items not meeting specifications before delivery.
8. Refill water glasses and remove unused place settings.
9. Clear dishes from in front of guests after each course.
10. Clear and reset tables after guests leave, including changing tablecloths, cleaning chairs, replacing silverware and glassware, and arranging napkins.
11. Assist servers as needed.
12. Keep work stations stocked with items and ingredients.
13. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
14. Follow safe work practices in all tasks.
15. Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one month of related experience or training.

• Reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.
