Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is reopening Two Trees Inn at Foxwoods and seeks an energetic Food Runner/Barback to support restaurant and bar operations and deliver food to guests promptly. You will help maintain tables, bar stock, and service areas to ensure an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and team-oriented, with flexible hours and a strong customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately while maintaining presentation standards
• Support bartenders by stocking bar supplies, glassware, garnishes, and ice as needed
• Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing and resetting tables
• Help set up tables with appropriate tableware, utensils, napkins, and other service items
• Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly to maintain a clean dining environment
• Ensure the dining room, bar area, and service stations remain clean and organized
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with restocking supplies and preparing service areas for upcoming shifts
• Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
• Provide friendly and profesional interactions with guests when delivering food or assisting the service team

Food Runner / Barback Overview

We are seeking energetic and team-oriented individuals to join our restaurant team as a Food Runner / Barback. In this role, you will support both the restaurant and bar operations by ensuring food and beverages are delivered promptly, tables and service areas are maintained, and the service team has everything they need to provide an exceptional guest experience.
