Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a friendly Bistro Attendant to be the face of our hotel restaurant in Norcross, GA. You will provide outstanding guest service, take orders, and help create a warm dining experience for every guest.

Ideal candidates bring a friendly demeanor, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work mornings, nights, or weekends. Training is provided with benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and connect with them to anticipate needs and make recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them accurately in the POS system.
• Prepare drinks and light food orders as directed, using hotel beverage equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized service area and stock as needed.
• Present checks, process payments, and assist teammates to ensure smooth operation.
• Support opening/closing duties and provide backup to other stations when required.

Bistro Attendant Overview:

We are looking for an outgoing, food passionate individual to be the face of our hotel restaurant. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while allowing our guests a special dining experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and connects with every customer. Discover customer's needs and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant or Hotel functions and services
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS system.
• Prepare coffee barista drinks, specialty drinks and food orders utilizing Turbo Chef
• Perform running side work and opening & closing duties throughout your shift as required by service station assignment.

• Maintain a clean and organized work and service area.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable)
• Teamwork -- Offer or ask for help to your fellow team members as situations arise.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bistro as directed by the immediate supervisor.
