Job summary

The Big Biscuit in Wichita, KS is seeking a part-time expo/restaurant support team member for a daytime schedule. Shifts run from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with weekends and holidays busiest. Pay starts at $5.00 per hour plus tips, with opportunities to grow as you assist servers and kitchen staff in a fast-paced breakfast and lunch environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift, typically 4-8 hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Experience in high-volume breakfast/lunch service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food promptly and accurately to the correct tables.
• Verify that plates match ticket items, modifications, and presentation standards.
• Assist expo with organizing plates, garnishing items, and preparing trays.
• Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow.
• Run condiments, sides, and extra items as needed.
• Help refill beverages and check on guest needs when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, window, and service stations.
• Support bussers and servers by helping reset tables during peak times.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Provide friendly, helpful interactions with guests when delivering food.

What You'll Be Doing:

Physical & Lifting Requirements

• Ability to safely carry multiple plates and navigate tight spaces

Pay rate: $5.00 per hour PLUS tips
