Who we are looking for

Server Assistant/Food Runner

Jag’s is seeking enthusiastic, detail-oriented hospitality professionals to join our upscale, fine dining team. As a Server Assistant/Food Runner, you will play an integral role in supporting our service staff to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate teamwork and professionalism, and have a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in delivering food to guests promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all food is presented according to our fine dining standards, checking freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of server stations to ensure smooth operations.
• Support kitchen staff by effectively communicating across departments.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and food handling.

Qualifications Required

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends with 4:00 PM arrival Tuesday to Friday and 3:00 PM arrival on Saturdays.
• Flexibility with seasonal and holiday hours.
• Experience in high-volume restaurants and culinary training is a plus.
