Job summary

The One Group is seeking a Food Runner to join our team in a busy dining environment. You will help deliver elevated guest experiences by ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully presented, working closely with kitchen and service teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of the full menu, guiding guests through dishes, and supporting servers to keep service smooth. This on-site role requires reliability, stamina, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong work ethic and team-player mentality.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and speed.
• Must stand for long periods, lift 20 lbs, and carry large trays.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic English proficiency required for communication with guests.

• Possess full menu knowledge and confidently describe dishes to guests.
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, seat assignments, and floor plans for efficient service.
• Follow proper service procedures when delivering food, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
• Offer condiments and accompaniments when appropriate.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and overall service needs.
• Always maintain a clean and organized service area.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety and cleanliness.
• Be available to assist in restaurant setup, cleaning, and general service tasks as directed by management.

What You'll Do

As a Food Runner, you will play a key role in delivering an elevated guest experience by ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully presented. Your mission is to work closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain a smooth flow of food from the kitchen to guests.

• Follow proper service procedures when delivering food, ensuring an exceptional guest experience

• Communicate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and overall service needs
• Always maintain a clean and organized service area
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety and cleanliness
• Be available to assist in restaurant setup, cleaning, and general service tasks as directed by management
