Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel in St. Louis is seeking an energetic Food Runner to join our fast-paced dining team. You will help deliver a seamless guest experience by ensuring timely service, maintaining clean tables, and providing friendly interactions with guests and staff.

Starting wage is up to $18 per hour, with shifts from 11am–5pm or 4pm–close. Applicants should be at least 18, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work with urgency in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service/communication skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, food servers, and restaurant host/ess.
• Provides clean china, silverware, and glassware upon request from customers.
• Sets tables with dishes, linen, flatware, etc., as required.
• Attends to customer needs/requests (e.g., refilling beverages, condiments, paper products) in a polite and helpful manner.
• Assists wait staff with tray service as needed.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

As a Food Runner, you will:

Pay: $7.50 per hour + tips | Shift: 11am - 5pm or 4pm - close
