Job summary

Ponte-Vedra-Inn- in Sawgrass, FL is seeking a food service team member to join our fast-paced, guest-focused dining team. You will set up stations, deliver orders, and ensure cleanliness and safety.

The position offers flexible scheduling, uniforms and dry cleaning benefits, parking, a staff cafe, and a 401K plan. Prior restaurant experience is preferred; you will thrive in a collaborative, guest-service oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain clean, organized work stations and comply with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain work stations with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Deliver food orders to correct tables and areas and assist teammates.
• Follow safety procedures and sanitation guidelines and report hazards.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating mis en place as needed.
• Attend required trainings and participate in team meetings.

Job description:

1. 1.Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts.
2. 2.Arrive to work on time, consistently.
3. 3.Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.
4. 4.Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
5. 5.Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.
6. 6.Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
7. 7.Maintain a clean, neat and organized work environment.
8. 8.Follow all directions and processes in place.
9. 9.Communicate with all internal and external customers efficiently.
10. 10.Properly rotate all mis en place.
11. 11.Clean and maintain equipment properly.
12. 12.Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements.
13. 13.Execute all food order deliveries to the correct tables and areas.
14. 14.Stock the line with plates and bowls and any other utensils needed for the day.
15. 15.Organize and set up work station fast and efficiently.
16. 16.Rotate, label and date all food on stations.
17. 17.Check all Jonas paper in all machines before service.
18. 18.At end of each shift provide Chef with a list of products and jobs needed for the next shift.
19. 19.Check out with Dining Room Manager before leaving.
20. 20.Perform any other jobs that will assist in quality member and guest service as assigned by Dining Room Manager or Chef.
