Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts in New Mexico seeks a friendly Food Runner to support dining operations by delivering timely plates, maintaining presentation, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will collaborate with servers and kitchen staff, uphold sanitation standards, and assist during peak periods while maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Previous hospitality experience and NM Food Handler certification are preferred, with opportunities for growth within our locally

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Ability to multitask in fast paced environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Current NM Food Handler Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
• Deliver food orders from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately.
• Comply with nutrition sanitation and safety standards at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of the dining area.
• Maintain table settings by delivering courses, replenishing utensils, and assisting beverage needs.
• Assist servers and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff regarding order status and guest needs.
• Support service operations during peak business periods.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance.
• Protect company assets and confidentiality of guest information.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience or training required
