The Food Runner ensures the timely delivery of orders to maintain food freshness and high guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy, presentation, assisting with table clearing and resetting, and maintaining health code standards in food handling.

Responsibilities:

1. Report to work area on time in proper uniform.
2. Prepare garnishing station as requested at the start of the shift.
3. Deliver food accurately and promptly as requested by servers and chefs.
4. Be knowledgeable of all menu items and ingredients.
5. Interpret server requests accurately and ask for clarification if needed.
6. Ensure proper table setup for the next course.
7. Deliver food accurately to the correct location and seat without auctioning.
8. Description of food to guests as delivered.
9. Assist with cleaning, detailing, and resetting tables.
10. Keep work area neat, organized, and detailed during the shift.
11. Perform additional projects as assigned by the manager.
12. Attend departmental meetings.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Willing to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player able to coordinate effectively with servers and bussers.
• Capable of standing/walking for extended periods and engaging in physical activity.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and navigate crowded spaces.
• Neat, professional appearance, with a genuine Spirit of Aloha and a desire to work with the public.
• TB clearance required.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including criminal background checks, drug screening, and references.
