Job summary

El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley, Arizona, invites hospitality-minded individuals to join a lively dining team. You will help ensure meals reach guests promptly and with correct presentation in a fast-paced setting beneath Camelback Mountain.

We value attention to detail, clear communication with kitchen and service teams, and a guest-first attitude. A food service card and alcohol certification support ongoing compliance and safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card/Certification required.
  • Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification required.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct table promptly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Review each plate for presentation, temperature, and order accuracy before leaving the kitchen.
  • Communicate clearly with culinary and service teams regarding orders, modifications, special requests, and timing.
  • Support servers with food delivery, table maintenance, clearing, and resetting as needed.
  • Handle and present plates in accordance with El Chorro’s established service standards.
  • Stay aware of the dining room and assist with guest needs as directed by the service team.
  • Keep the kitchen pass, service areas, and dining room clean, organized, and ready for service.
  • Promptly share guest concerns, food issues, or service delays with the appropriate Supervisor or Manager.
  • Bring a positive, polished, guest-first attitude to every shift.
  • Perform other supportive duties as assigned by Supervisors and Managers.

What You’ll Bring
  • A passion for hospitality and a desire to make every guest feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.
  • Food and beverage experience is preferred, though a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn go a long way.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.
  • A current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card/Certification and Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak, listen, read, and write effectively in English.
  • A professional appearance and commitment to established grooming standards.
