Job summary

El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley is seeking an entry-level kitchen support team member to help keep the heart of our kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service. This is a fast-paced, supportive role with growth opportunities in culinary and hospitality.

You will wash dishes, maintain sanitation per Health Department standards, stock and organize wares, and assist chefs as needed. A Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card is required.

Qualifications

• Dependable, hands-on approach with urgency and care.
• Basic sanitation knowledge and dishwashing procedures.
• Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card/Certification is required.
• Food and beverage experience is welcome but not required.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and small wares according to Health Department standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, floors, walls, and surfaces.
• Stock, organize, and store plateware and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain staff restrooms according to the cleaning schedule.
• Assist chefs and kitchen team with projects and needs as assigned.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, efficient kitchen environment.

How You’ll Make An Impact

You’ll be an essential part of the kitchen team, ensuring the tools, spaces, and equipment our culinary professionals rely on are spotless, stocked, and ready for service.

• Wash dishes, plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and small wares according to Health Department standards.

• Stock, organize, and properly store plateware, small wares, and kitchen supplies.

• Help create a clean, safe, efficient environment where exceptional hospitality can happen.

What You’ll Bring

• A Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card/Certification.
• Food and beverage experience is preferred, but not required.
• A high school diploma is preferred.

• Effective communication skills, including the ability to speak, listen, read and write in English; bilingual abilities are welcome.
