Job summary

STK Midtown, part of The ONE GROUP, is seeking a Food Runner in New York to help deliver an elevated guest experience by ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully presented from kitchen to table. You will work closely with kitchen and service teams to maintain a smooth flow of dishes.

This tipped position requires a strong work ethic, ability to stand for long periods, and availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food is prepared and delivered according to THE ONE GROUP’s quality standards
• Possess full menu knowledge and confidently describe dishes to guests
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, seat assignments, and floor plans for efficient service
• Follow proper service procedures when delivering food, ensuring an exceptional guest experience
• Offer condiments and accompaniments (pepper, cheese, etc.) when appropriate
• Communicate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and overall service needs
• Always maintain a clean and organized service area
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety and cleanliness
• Be available to assist in restaurant setup, cleaning, and general service tasks as directed by management
