Job summary

The One Group is seeking a Food Runner to deliver an elevated guest experience by moving dishes quickly and accurately from kitchen to table. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure consistent presentation.

Ideal candidates have strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and are comfortable standing for long periods. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required in this tipped role.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a strong work ethic and team orientation.

• Detail-oriented, ensuring accurate order delivery.

• Basic English sufficient for guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Track table numbers, seat assignments, and floor plans.
• Follow service procedures for exceptional guest experiences.
• Offer condiments and accompaniments as appropriate.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen for timely delivery.
• Assist with guests' requests and service needs.
• Keep the service area clean and organized.
• Follow health regulations for safety and cleanliness.
• Help with restaurant setup, cleaning, and general tasks.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Runner, you will play a key role in delivering an elevated guest experience by ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully presented. Your mission is to work closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain a smooth flow of food from the kitchen to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure food is prepared and delivered according to THE ONE GROUP’s quality standards
• Possess full menu knowledge and confidently describe dishes to guests
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, seat assignments, and floor plans for efficient service
• Follow proper service procedures when delivering food, ensuring an exceptional guest experience
• Offer condiments and accompaniments (pepper, cheese, etc.) when appropriate
• Communicate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and overall service needs
• Always maintain a clean and organized service area
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety and cleanliness
• Be available to assist in restaurant setup, cleaning, and general service tasks as directed by management
