Job summary

Din Tai Fung North America in Manhattan, NY is hiring a Food Runner to quickly deliver dishes from kitchen to tables, ensuring accurate presentation. You will assist with takeout packing and help keep the Expo and Takeout areas clean, working closely with servers and the kitchen to maintain smooth service.

Experience is welcome but not required. Must be able to stand for long periods, stay positive, and be flexible with shifts in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables promptly and accurately
• Assist with packing takeout orders with care

Job description

As a Food Runner, you play an important role in delivering a great guest experience by ensuring food reaches guests quickly and accurately. In this role, you bring dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables while maintaining attention to detail and presentation.

Food Runners also help pack takeout orders with care and keep the Expo Station and Takeout Packing Stations clean, organized, and running smoothly in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). By working closely with servers and the kitchen team, you help keep service flowing and ensure every guest receives their meal promptly and correctly.

PAY RATE FOR FOOD RUNNER

$11.35 per hour + Estimated $14.75 - $19.50 per hour in Tips
