Job summary

Main Event in New York is seeking a Food Runner to support servers and ensure guests have an exceptional experience. You’ll assist with refills, pre-bussing, delivering food, greeting guests, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Experience in food and beverage is a plus, but not required. The role requires teamwork, effective communication, and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
• Communicates effectively
• Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends

At Main Event, our Food Runners support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Food Runner, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You're also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
