Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Food Runner to support servers and ensure guests have an amazing experience. You will help with refills, pre-bussing, timely food/drink delivery, and greeting guests while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests, team members, and management to deliver outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere at our venues.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
• Communicates effectively
• Reliable in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Greeting Guests and taking drink orders.
• Delivering food and drinks promptly and anticipating guests' needs.
• Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing, and turning tables.

At Main Event, our Food Runners support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Food Runner, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You're also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest's needs
• Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
• Communicates effectively
• Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
