Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe Miami is seeking a Food Runner to support servers during high-volume dining. You will deliver guests’ orders quickly and professionally, assisting the team to ensure a smooth service.

Responsibilities include delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, bussing tables, maintaining a clean server line, and coordinating with kitchen staff to relay guest requests.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food service preferred.

Job Description

Food Runners may be utilized at Hard Rock Cafe during high business volume. In addition to delivering guests’ orders, they will assist servers in responding to the requests of our guests. The main responsibility of this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.

Basic Functions Of a Food Runner

• Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently.
• Deliver condiments and drinks as needed (to include alcoholic beverages).
• Refill beverages as needed. Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner.
• Promptly and professionally, handle guest issues and communicate problems and concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized server alley and expo area.
• Stock ice and glassware on the server line.
• Pre-buss tables.
• Clean and reset dirty tables.
• Sweep the floor.
• Assist and communicate clearly with the kitchen staff and front of the house staff.
