Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Memphis is seeking a Food Runner to support our dining team by delivering hot, high‑quality dishes to guests and ensuring timely service. You will partner with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth flow during busy periods and uphold our legendary hospitality.

This role emphasizes attentiveness to plate presentation, food safety, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate demonstrates a guest-first mindset, flexibility, and reliability while working a shift

Responsibilities

• Track cooking times on all orders to ensure each plate is perfectly prepared.
• Deliver food to the correct table, guaranteeing guests receive exactly what they ordered.
• Support the Server as needed to optimize the Guest's dining experience.
• Demonstrate a Guest first mindset, placing a high priority on the Guest experience.

• Ensure each plate is perfectly prepared by tracking cooking times on all orders, checking finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation.
• Deliver food to the correct table, guaranteeing every Guest receives exactly what they’ve ordered, just the way they like it.
• Support the Server as needed to optimize the Guest's dining experience.
