Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Food & Beverage Support role responsible for delivering food and beverages to outlets in the Food Hall. You will refill, stock, and maintain cleanliness while ensuring excellent guest service and a courteous, efficient attitude.

The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to health and sanitation guidelines, with shift coverage including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to obtain RAMP alcoholic certification.
• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp.
• Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours.
• Repeated bending and lifting.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays and bus tubs up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers in English.
• GED or high school diploma preferred; or 1–3 months related experience.

Summary

Delivers food and beverages from the kitchens to the outlets in the Food Hall. Refills, sets/resets, stocks, clears and cleans dishes, glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, beverages, napkin holders and all other related supplies. Provides excellent customer service to our dining guests.

• Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where flawless delivery and service is paramount.
• Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, and guests
• Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, and congenial and efficient attitude
• Relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor
• Adhere to established company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times
• Must always adheres to health & sanitation guidelines including food and beverage policy and procedures
• Maintains company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times
• Prepare food orders, set trays, and transport food & beverage items to food service areas
• Maintain breakdown area and condiment tables
• Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free environment within area of responsibility
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced operating mode.
• Adheres to state liquor laws as applicable
• Performs all related, compatible, and miscellaneous duties as assigned by leadership.

• Must be able to pass all Training and Tests associated with job
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
