Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Food & Beverage Server in King of Prussia, PA. You will deliver food and beverages from kitchens to outlets, stock and clear supplies, and provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include being 21+, ability to obtain RAMP certification, and the ability to stand for long shifts. Health and safety guidelines must be followed to ensure a clean, friendly dining experience.

Qualifications

Job Description

Summary

Delivers food and beverages from the kitchens to the outlets in the Food Hall.Refills, sets/resets, stocks, clears and cleans dishes, glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, beverages, napkin holders and all other related supplies. Provides excellent customer service to our dining guests.

• Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment whereflawless delivery and service is paramount.
• Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, and guests
• Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, and congenial and efficient attitude
• Relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor
• Adhere to established company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times
• Must always adheres to health & sanitation guidelines includingfood and beverage policy and procedures
• Maintains company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times
• Prepare food orders, set trays, and transport food & beverage items to food service areas
• Maintain breakdown area and condiment tables
• Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free environment within area of responsibility
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced operating mode.
• Adheres to state liquor laws as applicable
• Performs all related, compatible, and miscellaneous duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle or seek assistance for all types of guest related situations
• Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass all Training and Tests associated with job
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
