Snooze, a breakfast-forward restaurant, is seeking a Food Runner to help ensure timely delivery of high-quality plates and attentive guest service. You will garnish dishes, stock stations, and support a smooth flow from kitchen to table while upholding Snooze standards.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and capable of standing for long periods while lifting up to 40 lbs. This full-time on-site role offers weekly pay and a vibrant, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plates promptly to guests while engaging with them.
• Garnish plates according to Snooze standards.
• Maintain knowledge of kitchen standards, recipes, and policies.
• Stock and maintain sufficient food at stations for smooth service.
• Follow plate presentation and garnish setups for all dishes.
• Properly handle, store, and rotate products.
• Close the kitchen stations according to opening/closing checklists.

The Position Specifics

The Snooze Food Runner controls the flow of food coming out of the kitchen while ensuring that it has been prepared with the highest quality, care, and craftsmanship for our guests.

• Delivers the perfect plate in a timely manner while connecting with Guests and making sure they have everything they need
• Garnishes each and every plate that leaves the HOH according to our Snooze Food Doctrine.
• Responsible for knowing Snooze HOH Standards (portion sizes, cooking methods, recipes, quality standards, and HOH policies and procedures)
• Prepares, stocks, and maintains sufficient levels of food products in stations to assure a smooth service
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly
• Closes the HOH properly and follows the opening and closing checklist for kitchen stations

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
