Job summary

Snooze in College Station, TX is hiring a Busser to maintain spotless dining areas during busy mornings. You’ll support servers, clear tables, and help keep the front and back of house clean and organized across shifts.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable team players who can lift, stand for long periods, and communicate well with guests. This role offers a friendly team, breakfast-focused environment, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• County-required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• 17 years of age or older and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Move fast to keep the restaurant clean during busy shifts.
• Remove used plates and glassware and assist with dishwashing areas.
• Clean and clear tables between seatings and check floors.
• Inspect restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
• Assist servers with food delivery during peak periods.
• Coordinate with FOH, Bar, and HOH for stocking and cleanliness.

The Position Specifics

You are moving fast and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant throughout a bustling shift and are the ultimate team player. Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift

• Remove plates/glassware that guests no longer needs
• Take tableware to dish area and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing. Assist dishwasher by removing remaining food into appropriate waste bin and maintaining a clean dishwashing station
• Clean and clear tables after each Guest Experience. Between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths, check floor and clean as required
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to server as needed
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
• Continually communicate and assist FOH, Bar, and HOH in stocking, cleaning, and any other requested assistance
