Job summary

The Lake Club Grande Clubhouse in Bradenton, FL, a Troon property, seeks a full-time Food Runner to support dining room service. You will assist servers, stock stations, and ensure accuracy of served items in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assure that server supplies are clean and ready for daily operation.
• Know the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
• Set the outside line with plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins and items for delivering food.
• Organize plates and match with tickets to run food to tables.
• Set tables according to Troon Golf standards.
• Ensure menu items meet ticket specifications; coordinate with chef if adjustments are needed.
• Fill water glasses, clear and reset place settings as needed.
• Clear dishes in front of guests after each course and reset tables after departure.
• Assist servers when required and keep stations stocked; maintain cleanliness.

The Lake Club Grande Clubhouse, located in Bradenton, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Food Runner! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay

$12.00 per hour

Schedule

• Wednesday - Saturday
• This position starts in late September.

Key Responsibilities

• Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation.
• Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
• Sets the outside line with under liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins and any other items needed for the delivering of food.
• Organizes the plates in the window and matches each one with each ticket to run the food out to the tables.
• Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket.
• Corrects the menu item with the chef before delivering the menu item if it is not meeting the exact specification on the ticket.
• Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used.
• Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins.
• Assists the server when needed.
• Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients.
• Clean workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.
